Sow directly into prepared soil in early autumn or from March to May. Choose an open, sunny location with well-drained soil. Remove existing grass and weeds to reduce competition and lightly rake the surface before sowing.

Scatter seeds evenly and press down gently, do not bury them deeply. Keep the soil moist during germination, which typically takes 1–3 weeks. Once established, this mix is low-maintenance and drought-tolerant.

Deadhead flowers regularly to prolong blooming or allow them to go to seed for natural regeneration next year. These annuals complete their life cycle within a year but can re-establish themselves with light soil disturbance.

Q1: Will these flowers come back every year?
A: These are annuals, so they complete their lifecycle in one year. However, they can self-seed naturally if the soil is lightly disturbed after flowering.

Q2: Do I need to prepare the soil before sowing?
A: Yes. Remove grass, weeds, and debris, and rake the surface to create a fine seedbed. These annuals prefer low-nutrient soil and minimal competition.

Q3: How tall do the plants grow?
A: Most species in this mix grow to between 30–60 cm, though Corn Poppy and Corn Marigold can reach up to 80 cm in ideal conditions.
