Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
- Delicate clusters of small flowers form flat, airy heads that attract beneficial insects such as ladybirds and hoverflies.

Wild Carrot (Caucus carota)
- Produces intricate, lace-like white flower heads, attracting a wide variety of insects and architectural structure to borders.

Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare)
- A much-loved native wildflower with bright white petals and golden centres. Its nectar rich flowers support pollinators, while seed heads provide food for birds.

Sow directly into prepared soil in early autumn or from March to May. Choose an open, sunny location with well-drained soil. Remove existing grass and weeds to reduce competition and lightly rake the surface before sowing.

Scatter seeds evenly and press down gently, do not bury them deeply. Keep the soil moist during germination, which typically takes 1–3 weeks. Once established, this mix is low-maintenance and drought-tolerant.

Deadhead flowers regularly to prolong blooming or allow them to go to seed for natural regeneration next year. These annuals complete their life cycle within a year but can re-establish themselves with light soil disturbance.
